Atrocities suffered by
animals on fur farms

Millions of cats, dogs and other fur animals such as fox, raccoon, mink and rabbit raised for their fur worldwide and especially in China are subjected to horrendous conditions (unbearably small, barren, filthy cages with no sanitation, stacked on top of each other, violent handling and inhumane transport) and are clubbed, strangled, gassed or electrocuted to death and often even skinned alive for their fur. There is currently no animal welfare legislation in countries such as China to protect animals against these atrocities.

And unfortunately there are no "good" fur  farms anywhere, since there is video evidence of cruelty to animals such as rabbits even in European countries, for example France. Also refer to http://www.furisdead.com and http://www.peta.org/feat/ChineseFurFarms/index.asp for more information.

By making more and more people aware of the cruelties suffered in the bloody fur trade (through letters, e-mail campaigns, petitions, protest action, pressure on governments etc), we are working towards alleviating the suffering, and ensuring that there are proper animal-protection laws in place worldwide.
